The Purpose and Missions

What is the purpose of this relief sale?

Purpose:

Our purpose is a cooperative effort of many churches and individuals to procure funds for qualifying missions — enabling them to share God’s love in Haiti.

Vision:

Our vision is to see Haitians use even limited resources in sustainable agriculture and other self-help programs; providing water wells and clinics. Assisting in education, distributing Christian literature, coordinating teaching ministries and providing disaster relief. Our ultimate goal is for them to know the Lord Jesus Christ. All this as we “consider the cause of the poor and needy”.

Haiti Missions Update

To our Donors and Supporters, 5/23/2024

We realize the concern of everyone about the crisis in Haiti. The question comes up, are there still needs in Haiti and can the missions operate with the current conditions? The needs are greater than ever before since gangs took control of most of the country of Haiti. We as a board contacted the missions we (HBA) support and received positive feedback from them. The missions in the remote mountain areas still have Americans on site and operate almost like before. The missions that had to vacate their American staff are still in operation with Native trusted individuals overseeing the daily operations. The mission boards all have a detailed accountability system in place to ensure that the funds are used appropriately. Let us remember all those in prayer that are involved in the work in Haiti in these difficult times.
